Nordkyn Outfitters -- Collars, Leashes and Hiking Belts

Ours are the original adjustable collars designed for working dogs. They are the tough, humane, reliable, and inexpensive answer to kenneling, chaining, and working your dogs. The adjustment design uses the full strength of the web -- no holes to rip out, no weak hardware or moving parts, no loose ends for puppies to chew. Once set, the adjustment locks into the web, and stays until reset. The rings are easy to hang onto, even with gloves. The hardware is solid, one piece or welded. These collars are stronger than leather or chain, easy on coats, and skin, more secure than collars requiring buckles, and largely unaffected by extreme weather and hard work. UNLESS SPECIALLY ORDERED COLLARS WILL COME IN MEDIUM WEIGHT WEBBING WITH 1-1/4" 0-RINGS ON 1" WEBBING AND 1" 0-RINGS ON 3/4" WEBBING.

For dogs whose collars wear coat, consider the lined collars for more protection. For dogs who manage to loosen up the adjustment on their collars try the double slides. For dogs needing to be seen at night add reflective tape.

The collar normally lies loosely on the dog's neck; when pulled, it tightens just enough to hold the dog securely. This collar minimizes coat wear around the neck.
Sierra (SI) An adjustable circle collar with the ring sewn to lie flat against the dog's neck. Leashes and Hiking Belts

The same strong web used in our collars and harnesses goes into these heavy-duty leashes. Sturdy brass snaps work smoothly in the coldest weather. Steel snaps are available by request. (3/4" snaps on 1" web and 1/2" on 3/4" web unless a heavier snap is requested.) Leads may be ordered in any length by request.

Hiking belts are 2" webbing padded with neoprene. HB1 attaches lead to d-rings on each side of the belt. HB2 has two rings in front to attach leads. Belts adjust from approximately 34" to 53". Larger or smaller belts are available by request.
